Monthly Wrap Up | November 2016

Thursday, December 1, 2016

'Ello, everyone. So November is over. There's only a month left in the dumpster fire that has been 2016, and though I am slightly anxious about the passing of time I'm happy to see it go. This November wasn't wildly productive reading wise, but oh well, oh well. I did other things* and stuff.

*Namely eating all the ice cream and tons of kdrama watching.

Books read

1, This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab
2. Devil and the Bluebird by Jennifer Mason-Black

On the life

November started like the month I was going to tackle NaNoWriMo and ended like the month I very much didn't do that in. I attribute my failure to the fact that I traveled by bus four times this month. That and the fact that I started to compulsively watch Five Children, an excellent kdrama about two middle aged people falling in love and their shenanigans and the shenanigans of those around them. Note that when I say compulsively I mean it. I watched 54 episodes (one hour each, mind you) in about two weeks.  I mean, it was just the cutest ever. #YeonTaeAndSangMinForever

Other than that, I had school and exams and presentations and one casual dinner with one of my translation classes. Oh, and I volunteered to interpret at a school thing and it was awesomesauce. I also hung out with my friends and visited my family.

So, not all was lost. Have I also mentioned that I finished my second journal? I'm so proud of the thing. By the end there I got really super artsy with it and I'm in love. Totally in love with it. I might be filming a flip through over on the YouTubes.

What about your month? Did you obsessively watch anything? Or did you win NaNo like a freaking badass?

  1. I'm really looking forward to reading This Savage Song!! And oh my god, I watched Five Children too, but I never got around to finishing the series because school happened and I MUST FINISH IT BECAUSE I LOVE YEON TAE AND SANG MIN TOO!

    1. It's super good! OMG YES! They're the absolute cutest, like the way Sang Min just loves her so much and goes kinda crazy. THEY'RE JUST THE CUTEST! They only get better as the drama moves along.
